Event: AS220’s Foo Fest

Why did I attend this event? What was my interest? Last month I attended Foo Fest for all types of reasons. One of the main reasons why I attended this event was because it sounded like an event that was filled with creative people and that’s the type of people I want to be surrounded by, so I went. Of course the festival sounded like a fun way to spend the day, too, especially since there were a various amount of booths with different activities to participate in.
What knowledge did I leave with? For one thing, I learned that creative people are the most fun and friendly to be around. I also learned how to solder for the first time in my life.
What types of engagement did I have? I had several different types of engagement at this festival. The one that resonated with me the most was when I met this young woman who graduated from New England Tech, who also studied in the Graphics, Multimedia, and Web Design program. She now works at Hasbro.
Will I continue dialog with anyone and why? I’m hoping to run into the NEIT alumni at another upcoming event, so I can speak with her more.
